Mt. Battle
Mt. Battle, as you may already know, is a huge mountain in Pokemon Colosseum with 100 trainers. It is divided up into 10 Areas, with 10 trainers to an area. Along with that, you get Pokecoupons after completing each area. Save up these Pokecoupons and exchange them for awesome TMs, rare items, and other goodies (find a complete list below). If you want to train your Pokemon up to level 100, this is the place to do it.Once you beat all 100 trainers, you can always select "New Challenge" at the front desk and do all 100 trainers over again with without going back to the entrance of Mt. Battle. If you do so, every Pokemon in your part will get a ribbon for this accomplishment!

Area 1
Trainers: #1 - 10Pokemon Levels: 15 - 20
# of Pokecoupons: 100
This area is probably the easiest thing that you will ever do in life, so I really don't think I need to provide strategies for each trainer. If you lose on one of them, I would seriously consider retiring from Pokemon battling. o_O;;

# of Pokecoupons: 200
Eh... this area is almost exactly the same as Area 1: same weaklings as last time. You won't even notice the level increase since all your attacks should take out each Pokemon in one hit.

Area 3
Trainers: #21 - 30Pokemon Levels: 25 - 30
# of Pokecoupons: 400
This, or Area 4, is probably the best choice in which to purify any Shadow Pokemon after the game, since most of the Shadow Pokemon come in the 40's and that's just enough to take out each of these trainers in 1 or 2 hits.
#21 - Guy Gris
Silcoon - lvl 25
Cascoon - lvl 26
Wurmple - lvl 25
Strategy: ...Your first thought when the battle initiates is probably "What a stupid name".[/random] Anyway, all of his Pokemon are pure bugs so fire will make short work of each one.
#22 - Fun Old Lady Desla
Kirlia - lvl 26
Kirlia- lvl 25
Strategy: Umbreon or basically any physical sweeper of some kind will kill them both.
#23 - Bodybuilder Eisen
Sandshrew - lvl 25
Aron - lvl 26
Phanpy - lvl 26
Strategy: Like the last two, the strategy is pretty cut out for you: water is super-effective against all her Pokemon so Suicune shouldn't have any trouble taking care of these.
#24 - Cooltrainer Bedro
Bagon - lvl 26
Wingull - lvl 26
Strategy: For once, Bedro's team doesn't have a block type which means one type won't be super-effective against them all, thanks to Bagon. But it's a... Bagon. Use anything you like on it.
#25 - Roller Boy Grel
Gulpin - lvl 26
Oddish - lvl 27
Strategy: Espeon will own Grel, as will just about anything.
#26 - Teacher Loden
Houndour - lvl 28
Larvitar - lvl 28
Strategy: Suicune used Surf!
#27 - Fun Old Man Taryn
Natu - lvl 27
Duskull - lvl 28
Strategy: Again, use anything. If you have Shadow Pokemon around the 30's, Duskull might take a hit or two.
#28 - Glasses Man Solek
Machop - lvl 27
Slakoth - lvl 28
Zigzagoon - lvl 29
Strategy: A fighting type Pokemon will clear Solek easy. Then again, anything will do.
#29 - Athlete Wina
Mawile - lvl 29
Geodude - lvl 29
Strategy: She has pretty defensive Pokemon but a special attack will sweep them off their feet.
#30 - Area Leader Kinson
Surskit - lvl 30
Corphish - lvl 29
Goldeen - lvl 30
Horsea - lvl 29
Staryu - lvl 29
Strategy: It's the end of Area 3 and the representative of this area is.... really, really easy. Even if he has 5 Pokemon, they will be taken down easily by any electric attack. Staryu, I guess, is the only one that has a chance of even damaging your team, because it's decently fast but that's all.
Area 4
Trainers: #31 - 40Pokemon Levels: 30 - 35
# of Pokecoupons: 600
This is probably your best choice if you want to purify Shadow Pokemon in the mid-40's to 50's. The Pokemon are slowly getting tougher as you proceed up the mountain but this area should still be a cinch if you've at least beat the Tower Colosseum.
#31 - Lady In Suit Malla
Slakoth - lvl 30
Togepi - lvl 31
Strategy: Togepi usually goes down in one hit. Slakoth should too, but if it survives, it can pack a punch (for once).
#32 - Cooltrainer Herton
Doduo - lvl 31
Taillow - lvl 30
Strategy: *Yawn*... nothing interesting here. Just the same pathetic team. Raikou will have a field day with this.
#33 - Fun Old Man Higson
Corphish - lvl 30
Natu - lvl 30
Strategy: Another field day for Raikou.
#34 - Fun Old Lady Allow
Clamperl - lvl 31
Abra - lvl 30
Strategy: These "Fun old" people are really getting annoying, aren't they? At least she isn't as bad as the last few since her team has *some* (much stress on 'some') diversity. Still falls to anything that can launch a good attack.
#35 - Glasses Man Delot
Voltorb - lvl 23
Magnemite - lvl 24
Strategy: Delot has some oddly low-leveled Pokemon, which is more the better for you. Anything decent can take his team down in one hit. Earthquake isn't really needed, since the damage your partner Pokemon will receive is more than his team can ever accomplish, sadly.
#36 - Rich Boy Diek
Corphish - lvl 31
Shroomish - lvl 31
Strategy: Same as any other battle. Slaughter his pair of Pokemon with electric and fire attacks.
#37 - Roller Boy Warl
Shroomish - lvl 32
Cacnea - lvl 32
Strategy: At this point, I was really feeling sorry for all these pathetic people... Heck, even a not very effective Thunderbolt from Raikou will make short work of them.
#38 - Guy Rone
Anorith - lvl 33
Volbeat - lvl 32
Pineco - lvl 33
Illumise - lvl 32
Strategy: This guy isn't too sucky, seeing as Volbeat and Illumise can take some beatings if you don't have a fire type with you. Oh well, none of his Pokemon can do much damage so anything will work. It just might take a while, though.
#39 - Cooltrainer Niera
Bagon - lvl 34
Numel - lvl 33
Strategy: Ice and water attacks will do Niera in quick.
#40 - Area Leader Trinch
Barboach - lvl 34
Phanpy - lvl 35
Rhyhorn - lvl 35
Nosepass - lvl 34
Lileep - lvl 34
Strategy: This will probably be your toughest battle yet (that's not saying much, though) since Trinch doesn't really have a solid way you can pummel his team, although water types will do just fine. Really, anything will but if you don't have high enough levels, Lileep might survive some attacks... might.
Area 5
Trainers: #41 - 50Pokemon Levels: 35 - 40
# of Pokecoupons: 800
You are now almost half way through Mt. Battle and the rise in Pokemon levels and skill are plainly apparent now. In this area, you will be facing more evolved and stronger Pokemon and, not only that, the trainers will have more than two Pokemon as well. You'll also find that not everything goes down in one hit. ;) Good luck!
#41 - Researcher Vogi
Chinchou - lvl 35
Pikachu - lvl 36
Strategy: Pikachu will go down easily to any hit but Chinchou will be a nuisance, seeing as his Volt Absorb ability will just suck up any of your electric moves. If possible, use Grass attacks or ground attacks in it. Or, choose any hard hitter of your choice and bash it to death.
#42 - Glasses Man Terl
Spinda - lvl 36
Vigoroth - lvl 37
Delcatty - lvl 36
Strategy: All of his Pokemon are normal types so a physical sweeper like Heracross will have no problem with them. Vigoroth might be a threat because it is decently fast and can dish out full-powered attacks.
#43 - Lady in Suit Sowa
Linoone - lvl 37
Noctowl - lvl 36
Strategy: Linoone will go down in most likely one hit. Noctowl's a bit bulky so it might survive your attacks if you aren't using electric types on it. An easy battle overall, though.
#44 - Fun Old Man Yudan
Nuzleaf - lvl 37
Sableye - lvl 37
Strategy: For the first turn, both of Yudan's Pokemon will use Fake Out, just as a warning. Other than that little minor nuisance, he should go down quite easily. Sableye might take one or two hits to defeat since he has no weaknesses, but then again, his defending stats suck.
#45 - Athlete Megro
Graveler - lvl 38
Mawile - lvl 37
Corsola - lvl 37
Strategy: Megro's team is actually has some variety to it, but basic elemental moves like Surf and Thunderbolt will make short work of his team.
#46 - Roller Boy Tolli
Koffing - lvl 37
Grimer - lvl 37
Dustox - lvl 37
Gloom - lvl 38
Strategy: Psychic will destroy Tolli's team. If you don't have a Psychic Pokemon on you, there's a likely chance that you might get poisoned. Other than the minor put-down, this battle shouldn't be any different than the last.
#47 - Fun Old Lady Ropel
Natu - lvl 37
Medicham - lvl 38
Kadabra - lvl 38
Strategy: This should be a fairly simple battle, but Medicham and Kadabra can dish out hard hits so make sure to kill them quickly. Natu will fall to anything.
#48 - Lady Vesey
Seadra - lvl 39
Luvdisk - lvl 38
Lombre - lvl 38
Tentacool - lvl 39
Strategy: Something like Raikou will let you escape this battle without a scratch. If you don't have an electric move, however, Seadra and Tentacool might get a bit annoying. Luvdisk and Lombre really just serve as a distraction and they aren't really a threat to anything.
#49 - Teacher Kinsin
Houndour - lvl 39
Spinda - lvl 40
Sealeo - lvl 39
Strategy: Her Pokemon die to almost anything, seeing as they aren't the bulkiest or fastest in the lot. Sealeo might survive your attacks but all it uses is Ice Ball.... which sucks.
#50 - Area Leader Zentin
Pelipper - lvl 39
Masquerain - lvl 39
Swellow - lvl 40
Beautifly - lvl 40
Golbat - lvl 40
Strategy: An electric type will sweep Zentin off his feet. Swellow and Golbat are pretty fast so they might get a chance to attack first but they never really do any major damage. His team might be a little difficult to defeat if you don't have an electric on you and Masquerain's intimidate will be a pain if you're using physical attackers.
After you beat the Area Leader, you are now half way through Mt. Battle! The heat is getting intense (literally) and the battles are becoming more of a struggle!
Back to TopArea 6
Trainers: #51 - 60Pokemon Levels: 40 - 45
# of Pokecoupons: 800
Now that you've gotten to the half way point, things are just going to get harder from here. Unless you have the right levels, I wouldn't recommend doing this just for leisure training. If you want to purify your shadow Pokemon, do it in Area 5, 4, or 3; not here.
#51 - Teacher Leine
Chinchou - lvl 41
Magnemite - lvl 40
Voltorb - lvl 40
Strategy: This shouldn't be too hard if you're using Ground type attacks. Like the last Area, Chinchou might get a bit annoying because of its type resistences but you shouldn't have any trouble passing this.
#52 - Glasses Man Laton
Aipom - lvl 40
Cacnea - lvl 40
Phanpy - lvl 41
Nosepass - lvl 41
Strategy: All of Laton's Pokemon are weak so this battle shouldn't be any trouble. Aipom likes using Baton Pass you might want to clean it up before it gets a chance to set up.
#53 - Bodybuilder Besol
Ledian - lvl 42
Lileep - lvl 41
Skiploom - lvl 42
Strategy: Ice type attacks are the key to winning this battle. Lileep, as always, is a bit bulky so it might take more than one hit to take him down.
#54 - Cooltrainer Boda
Rhyhorn - lvl 40
Delibird - lvl 42
Anorith - lvl 42
Strategy: Another piece of bait for an elemental sweep. Delibird will go down to anything, seeing as it's defenses are so low; Anorith is just weak in the first place and I'm sure you'll have no problem taking him down as well; Rhyhorn can be destroyed with a simple Surf or Giga Drain. Easy.
#55 - Roller Boy Daga
Vibrava - lvl 43
Staryu - lvl 42
Delcatty - lvl 41
Houndour - lvl 42
Strategy: Although Daga has quite a lot of different types on his team, they can all be taken down with whatever you like. Delcatty uses Attract, so watch out for that.
#56 - Guy Alten
Teddiursa - lvl 42
Skiploom - lvl 42
Clamperl - lvl 43
Beautifly - lvl 43
Strategy: Again, just stick with the type advantages here. His team can't do much damage.
#57 - Lady in Suit Fial
Goldeen - lvl 43
Luvdisk - lvl 43
Luvdisk - lvl 43
Goldeen - lvl 44
Strategy: .... the strategy should be right in front of your face.
#58 - Fun Old Man Haken
Koffing - lvl 43
Nosepass - lvl 43
Mawile - lvl 44
Nuzleaf - lvl 44
Strategy: Mawile's intimidate might get a bit annoying because most of his Pokemon are weak to Physical attacks; stilly easy to crush though.
#59 - Lady Illa
Volbeat - lvl 43
Illumise - lvl 44
Roselia - lvl 44
Corsola - lvl 44
Strategy: Nothing too special here; Volbeat and Illumise use Helping Hand on each other but it's not as if they'd do much in the first place.
#60 - Area Leader Loko
Wobbuffet - lvl 45
Wailmer - lvl 45
Wigglytuff - lvl 44
Azumarill - lvl 44
Ariados - lvl 45
Strategy: There is no solid type that can take Loko down and sadly, that's how it's going to be from now on. Wobbufet will probably be the biggest threat of all; if it gets lucky and guesses right, your Pokemon is most likely to go down in one hit. Other than, just use a mix of attacks to batter the rest of his team.
Area 7
Trainers: #61 - 70Pokemon Levels: 45 - 50
# of Pokecoupons: 900
Area 7 is about as strong as the people in the Tower Colosseum. Like I said, things are just going to get harder from here on out. The trainers are going to have more Pokemon with higher levels, so watch out!
#61 - Roller Boy Gort
Masquerain - lvl lvl 44
Ariados - lvl 46
Ledian - lvl 45
Yamna - lvl 44
Strategy: Like anyone who uses Bug Pokemon, they fry instantly with a Fire attack.
#62 - Rich Boy Perd
Solrock - lvl 45
Lunatone - lvl 44
Sandslash - lvl 46
Dunsparce - lvl 47
Strategy: Water will totally demolish Perd's team. As all Dunsparce go, it will try to parahax you but it never works so you won't need to worry about that.
#63 - Researcher Mante
Clamperl - lvl 45
Delibird - lvl 47
Magcargo - lvl 45
Dustox - lvl 45
Strategy: Easy, easy. More victims to the elemntal attacks.
#64 - Athlete Meton
Dodrio - lvl 47
Jumpluff - lvl 48
Linoone - lvl 45
Ninjask - lvl 48
Strategy: Electric type attacks will dominate this match. Dodrio is pretty fast and can pack a punch if you let it survive.
#65 - Fun Old Lady Lonno
Misdreavus - lvl 48
Banette - lvl 48
Sableye - lvl 48
Murkrow - lvl 45
Strategy: Lonno uses the old Perish-Trap combo, but too bad that it never works in Doubles. You need hard hitters for her because the results can be quite deadly if you let her set up the Perish-trap combo.
#66 - Lady in Suit Reme
Girafarig - lvl 48
Roselia - lvl 45
Bellossum - lvl 45
Azumarill - lvl 47
Strategy: Her team is pretty diverse but still easy to take down. As always, stick to the type advantages.
#67 - Cooltrainer Ferda
Sneasel - lvl 47
Girafarig - lvl 47
Vigoroth - lvl 48
Swellow - lvl 48
Strategy: All her Pokemon are pretty fragile but also pretty fast as well. They can pack a punch if you don't get rid of them quickly, especially Vigoroth. Swellow also knows Endeavor, a pesky and annoying move in some circumstances.
#68 - Glasses Man Gilam
Camperupt - lvl 47
Chimecho - lvl 45
Medicham - lvl 48
Sharpedo - lvl 48
Strategy: Medicham can hit hard with his Pure Power ability. The others will be taken down easily by any move you like, preferrable type advantages of course.
#69 - Guy Odon
Pupitar - lvl 47
Mantine - lvl 47
Granbull - lvl 48
Sealeao - lvl 49
Strategy: Granbull is probably the biggest threat here, with his Intimidate ability that might give him the chance to survive your Fighting type attacks. The others are quite simple to defeat; just beware of Mantine's Water Absorb if you're ever using Surf on Pupitar.
#70 - Area Leader Athey
Machoke - lvl 47
Quagsire - lvl 47
Mawile - lvl 48
Altaria - lvl 50
Dusclops - lvl 49
Strategy: Athey's team is really ugly and quite hard to defeat. You should know by know that you should always use type advantages, especially with Quagsire since nothing else can take him down as easily as Grass. Dusclops might be a pain, with his huge defenses and Confuse Ray. Altaria uses Dragon Dance but it's not as if it can get very far with that... be careful and try to clean Athey's team up quickly because it can be very dangerous.
Area 8
Trainers: #71 - 80Pokemon Levels: 50 - 55
# of Pokecoupons: 900
These trainers have about the same levels as Nascour so unless you want to commit suicide, DON'T CHALLENGE THIS AREA IF YOU HAVEN'T DEFEATED THE TOWER COLOSSEUM YET. Seriously...
#71 - Lady Caril
Noctowl - lvl 50
Piloswine - lvl 50
Sunflora - lvl 49
Wigglytuff - lvl 49
Strategy: Her Pokemon are quite bulky so unless you have type advantages, they may take multiple hits to take down. Wigglytuff uses Defense Curl and Rollout so you might want to wipe it off quickly before it gets dangerous.
#72 - Fun Old Man Chenek
Swalot - lvl 50
Golbat - lvl 50
Kadabra - lvl 51
Seviper - lvl 49
Strategy: His team isn't very strong, but Swalot might take a while to tackle down if you aren't using Psychic type attacks. Unleash Umbreon on Kadabra and use Espeon for Golbat and Seviper.
#73 - Roller Boy Tran
Himontop - lvl 51
Grumpig - lvl 52
Sneasel - lvl 50
Gligar - lvl 50
Strategy: Gligar might be a little hard to take down because of his types if you don't have a handy Ice Beam on you; other than that, this team is easy pickings for Suicune and the crew.
#74 - Researcher Ribek
Mightyena - lvl 50
Stantler - lvl 52
Granbull - lvl 51
Masquerain - lvl 51
Strategy: Most of Ribek's team is weak against Physical type attacks like Fighting and Bug; too bad the fact that his whole team has Intimidate basically ruins your advantage because he will literally Intimidate you until there's nothing left. So, if you have levels about the same as his Pokemon, just switch between attackers when the first heat gets worn out.
#75 - Bodybuilder Vitalo
Lanturn - lvl 51
Vileplume - lvl 52
Skarmory - lvl 52
Dusclops - lvl 51
Strategy: Vitalo's team is annoyingly resistant to a lot of types, so choose your attacks carefully. skarmory is a pain in the butt if you only use Physical attacks and Dusclops will make it even worse. Lanturn and Vileplume are basically the Special walls so getting past them will be tough. Finally we have a team that isn't badly built like the last areas. XD Just be thankful that your opponents can't switch out.
#76 - Cooltrainer Daras
Breloom - lvl 54
Swellow - lvl 51
Rhydon - lvl 51
Glalie - lvl 51
Strategy: Although Daras's team is badly weak against a lot of types, the Pokemon are all pretty offensive and can pack a punch if you don't kill them.
#77 - Athlete Dian
Granbull - lvl 51
Jumpluff - lvl 51
Metang - lvl 52
Xatu - lvl 53
Strategy: Like any other Granbull, it poses a threat so he should be your number one target. The others can go down easily with whatever moves you use.
#78 - Glasses Man Hauf
Absol - lvl 52
Lairon - lvl 52
Tropius - lvl 51
Exploud - lvl 53
Strategy: Although his team has a lot of different types, they can fall easily to anything, really.
#79 - Fun Old Lady Naldo
Shiftry - lvl 51
Noctowl - lvl 52
Torkoal - lvl 52
Relicanth - lvl 54
Strategy: Another team that falls to the elemental attacks. Use 'em.
#80 - Area Leader Shobon
Cacturne - lvl 53
Weezing - lvl 53
Golem - lvl 54
Hariyama - lvl 52
Starmie - lvl 55
Strategy: Starmie is a pain in the butt because he's fast and strong and can learn a wide variety of moves. Cacturne, Weezing, and Golem die to their weaknesses; Hariyama might survive one or two hits, even from a Psychic or Flying type attack. Nothing really too special here, just use all out offensiveness.
Area 9
Trainers: #81 - 90Pokemon Levels: 55 - 60
# of Pokecoupons: 1000
This is the second to last area before the very top. As always, the trainers now have even more Pokemon to face, higher levels, and stronger Pokemon. Good luck!
#81 - Athlete Dobel
Girafarig - lvl 54
Ninjask - lvl 55
Zangoose - lvl 54
Dodrio - lvl 55
Strategy: Ninjask and Zangoose will die to anything. Dodrio might squeeze in an attack or two before its death as well. And, like before, Girafarig is always the sitting duck.
#82 - Guy Keto
Camerupt - lvl 56
Sharpedo - lvl 55
Forretress - lvl 55
Breloom - lvl 55
Strategy: Forretress has a lot of defending power... too bad it dies to almost every special attack; same with the rest of his team.
#83 - Glasses Man Moit
Banette - lvl 55
Magneton - lvl 56
Mantine - lvl 56
Whiscash - lvl 55
Strategy: Nothing special, just use each of their weaknesses against them.
#84 - Fun Old Man Matso
Raichu - lvl 56
Lombre - lvl 55
Electrode - lvl 56
Altaria - lvl 58
Strategy: Raichu might be a bit annoying here; it likes to use Thunder Wave. Other than that, just do what you did last battle.
#85 - Bodybuilder Ritaco
Crawdaunt - lvl 56
Octillery - lvl 54
Huntail - lvl 56
Golduck - lvl 55
Strategy: Uh....
#86 - Lady Ristin
Bellossum - lvl 55
Gorebyss - lvl 56
Miltank - lvl 58
Ampharos - lvl 57
Strategy: Another victim to elemntal attacks. Miltank might be a little tougher to take done since it has Thick Fat but Fighting types will make short work of him.
#87 - Roller Boy Dorn
Skarmory - lvl 58
Xatu - lvl 57
Shiftry - lvl 58
Rhydon - lvl 58
Strategy: Guess what? ANOTHER person that will fall to elemental attacks. Suicune can destroy this team with both Surf and Aurora Beam/Ice Beam so using him will be a good idea.
#88 - Rich Boy Jurek
Weezing - lvl 57
Muk - lvl 57
Altaria - lvl 58
Donphan - lvl 58
Strategy: Again, Suicune will totally sweep this team. Muk might survive quite a lot of Surfs, so a simple Psychic will do him in.
#89 - Researcher Vonder
Cradily - lvl 57
Armaldo - lvl 58
Heracross - lvl 58
Ninetales - lvl 58
Strategy: Vonder's team is pretty defensive; a Fire type paired with a Fighting type will have no problem with this, though. Beware, Armaldo and Heracross pack quite a punch so get rid of them quickly.
#90 - Area Leader Norus
Tropius - lvl 60
Ludicolo - lvl 60
Vileplume - lvl 59
Bellossum - lvl 59
Shiftry - lvl 60
Strategy: A flying type will easily run this team over, but, seeing as there aren't much flying types in the game, Ice type attacks will do just as well. Ludicolo is probably the only exception and it will take a lot of beatings from Suicune before it dies. Other than that, a pretty easy battle that you should have no problem passing.
Area 10
Trainers: #91 - 100Pokemon Levels: 58 - 60
# of Pokecoupons: 1200
Starting from Cooltrainer Stum from Area 1, you are finally at the last Area. *suspenseful music* Your team, by now, should be in the mid-60's and I recommend that you have at least one level 70 in your team just in case you have trouble on the last person.
#91 - Fun Old Man Tando
Golem - lvl 58
Relicanth - lvl 59
Cacturne - lvl 60
Sandslash - lvl 60
Strategy: It's the start of Area 10, so this shouldn't be too hard. A good water type will wash Tando's team out and just Ice Beam Cacturne to death. Not too hard if you ask me.
#92 - Fun Old Lady Panne
Golbat - lvl 59
Swalot - lvl 59
Muk - lvl 60
Tentacruel - lvl 60
Strategy: On come the Poison types. A strong Psychic Pokemon will do the trick; otherwise, just beat his team down with your strongest moves. Swalot, Muk, and Tentacruel might be a bit difficult but Golbat should be taken out with ease.
#93 - Rich Boy Quint
Grumpig - lvl 59
Kadabra - lvl 60
Metang - lvl 60
Lunatone - lvl 60
Strategy: Quint's team is all Psychic Pokemon so Umbreon will just trample everything in it's path. Metang will probably be a little harder given that he's neutral against Dark types so just blow him away with a nice Fire Blast from Entei.
#94 - Lady Kowly
Castform - lvl 60
Sunflora - lvl 60
Vileplume - lvl 60
Bellossum - lvl 60
Strategy: Unfortunately, from here on out, everyone's Pokemon will be at level 60, so be prepared. Kowly uses Sunny Day to pump up her Grass type Pokemon so they can go at double the speed and use Solar Beam all they want. It's just as well, since Entei's Flamethrower spiffied with added sun will seal all of their deaths.
#95 - Athlete Crisom
Mantine - lvl 60
Seaking - lvl 60
Huntail - lvl 60
Gorebyss - lvl 60
Strategy: The last trainer used Sunny Day, so this trainer uses Rain Dance. All the better for Raikou now that its Thunder will be guaranteed to hit. They all have Swift Swim, so although Raikou is really fast, they might be faster and take him out with a double dose of Surf.
#96 - Athlete Raus
Electrode - lvl 60
Misdreavus - lvl 60
Ninetales - lvl 60
Camerupt - lvl 60
Strategy: There isn't really a solid way to get past Raus's team since it is very diverse. Just pound him with your strongest attacks and you should be fine.
#97 - Cooltrainer Trilo
Feraligatr - lvl 60
Typhlosion - lvl 60
Meganium - lvl 60
Breloom - lvl 60
Ampharos - lvl 60
Strategy: Trilo's team is based off, obviously, the GSC starters. Although he has many types of Pokemon, they all fall to elemental attacks which is a job for Suicune, Raikou, and Entei.
#98 - Cooltrainer Lomen
Swampert - lvl 60
Blaziken - lvl 60
Sceptile - lvl 60
Altaria - lvl 60
Glalie - lvl 60
Strategy: Just to warn you, this is a VERY hard battle if you don't have the right Pokemon to take them out. Unlike the GSC starters, the RSE starters actually have good typing and offensive/defensive abilities. Swampert will be a pain in the butt to take out because it is only weak to Grass; not only that, it has Muddy Water and Earthquake which will really damage your team. Sceptile will most likely be taken out in one hit, although more often than not, it will go first and Leaf Blade poor Suicune's face if you have it in your front row. Blaziken, Altaria, and Glalie shouldn't be too difficult to take out; use whatever move that fits to send them packing.
#99 - Teacher Nacie
Crawdaunt - lvl 60
Magneton - lvl 60
Shedinja - lvl 60
Heracross - lvl 60
Gardevoir - lvl 60
Strategy: This is, in fact, much easier than the last trainer. Sheddy and Gardy will die to Umbreon and Raikou can zap Crawdaunt to oblivion. Hard broil Magneton and Heracross with Entei and - ta-da - the victory is yours.
After defeating Nacie, you will be ascending a flight of really long stairs and entering the very top of Mt. Battle. Here, the third Time Flute will be waiting for you in a chest; get it before you challenge the final person.
#100 - Mt.Btlmaster Somek
Gyarados - lvl 60
Claydol - lvl 60
Pinsir - lvl 60
Crobat - lvl 60
Gligar - lvl 60
Flygon - lvl 60
Strategy: It's the final battle! Of course, every single "strong" person like the Deep King and Somek have to be editted versions of Bodybuilders... >_> Oh well. All of Somek's Pokemon can learn Earthquake so Raikou won't have as much fun with hiim as he did with the others. Gyarados might be a pain, seeing as Raikou is the only one that can take him out with ease. What's bad about Somek's team is that so many of his Pokemon have 4x weaknesses, the biggest hole being Ice. So Ice Beam away Gligar and Flygon and drown Claydol with Surf. Zap Crobat out of the air and fry Pinsir down to nothing but ashes. This battle actually isn't very tough if you have the right levels and stick with the type chart.
Aaannd.... congratulations! You've beaten Mt. Battle and have gotten a bucket load of Pokecoupons to go with it. If you ever want to trainer your Pokemon up to level 100, keep rebattling Area 10!
