I understand if all of you believe I lost faith in li ,and leaving her to die. But, I have always had interest. LI is important to me just like it is to all of us. And, I am tired of letting her die. Just like all of you are too.

So let's make some pages. And no being a Momos about it. And, the pessimism isn't good either. We have tackled spambots, Troll-o-bites, and now we have to face something more difficult.. Inactivity.

Instead of waiting for unicorns prancing upon rainbows of cotton candy or space frogs to save us. WE should save ourselves. Advertisements are good. But, making pages is Much better. So everybody post your page ideas , please. And, lets hurry up and save LIF!

We can save li. So stop with this 'let lif rot and die in hell' stuff. ;/
Sincerely,

Quote:An airline passenger ate his £8,930 winning scratch card after he was told he could not claim the money immediately, it has emerged.

The unnamed man was flying with Ryanair from Krakow in Poland to East Midlands Airport when he won 10,000 euros with the scratch card.

Crew on board the flight confirmed he had won the prize but told the passenger he would have to collect the jackpot directly from the company that runs the competition as it was such a large sum.

Ryanair said the man then became frustrated and started to eat his winning ticket, ruling out any chance he had of claiming the prize money which will now be donated to charity.

Stephen McNamara, a spokesman for the airline, said: "Passengers have always been delighted to claim their large cash prizes after returning home.

"Unfortunately our latest winner felt that we should have his 10,000 euros prize kicking around on the aircraft."

Scratch cards: High on fiber, low on taste.

Now this is just stupid. I'm starting to lose faith in people spending money: They take it for granted and are so absorbed with getting money these days that they raise their expectations to outrageous limits.

[Warning] May contain some unhappiness and despair and possible mature themes? So ya. You've been warned.

[Stuff] This was a retelling of a myth from the perspective of someone else then the main character for a writing thingy from a while back. I did the story of Theseus and stuff (you can look it up) from Aegeus's perspective.

----

Aegeus walked back and forth in his chamber, waiting for his son's return. Theseus had set to Crete as tribute to Minos, who preferred having noble children to be the sacrifices for his Minator. Even now Aegeus regretting letting his son go, he would rather have broken the peace with Minos to keep his son alive. When Theseus left he said he would return victorious, but it has been a long time.

Aegeus' face had begun to shallow; his cheeks and eyes looked as if they had sunk into his face and his skin began to pale. For days he had not eaten anything; his stomach always felt queasy when food was brought to him, but he always had wine with him, drinking himself into a state of numbness. Although the wine was supposed to stop him from thinking about his son and his pain, all it did was amplify his dreary mood. His silent suffering turned into a mad man's speech, his quiet sobbing in his sleep turned into screaming nightmares. For the sake of himself and his family he was advised to remain in his chambers or his private garden; anywhere away from the guests or family, his own pain caused a ripple though them, causing the others to sob as he did.

Trapped in his own space without anyone to speak to, he found himself no longer able to sleep, but he began to drink even more. His body, like his face, had begun to fade from its former state. He was once a man of handsome features, a brilliant looking man with a well maintained body for one of his age, but now all that remained was a skinny, wrinkled old man who was a raving drunk.

One afternoon there was a knock at the door. Aegeus sat on his bed, his head between his knees, staring at a crack in the floor. He didn't notice the knock. The door opened slightly and a young soldier peaked in.

"Milord?" He said softly, unable to find his full voice in the presence of his king, or what was left of him.

Anxiously he left himself into the room walking towards Aegeus. He crouched down in front of the king, he put his hand on Aegeus' shoulder as he spoke, "Mi--"

He was cut off as Aegeus was startled by his touch. The king threw his arms in the air, standing up.

"Yes? What?" Aegeus spoke trying to get his attention back to the room.

"Milord," the young soldier spoke nervously, this wasn't a message he wanted to deliver, "Theseus' ship has been spotted coming towards the harbour."

Aegeus' eyes lit up with life for the first time in a long time, he grabbed the young soldier's shirt and pulled him close, his voice filled with excitement, "the sails, what colour are the sails?"

The soldier looked down, unable to look him in the eyes, he sighed, thinking of how to say it. Even though drunk and mad Aegeus could tell by the young soldier's hesitation that it wasn't the answer he wanted, his grip on the man loosed and he fell back down onto the bed. He whispered, "no."

"I'm sorry, but they are still black." The soldier still looked down, unwilling to watch an old man take the news of his son's death.

"No!" Aegeus screamed, rising up again, "no! It can't be!"

He yelled and shouted, picking up anything and everything he could, throwing it around the room. He shouted, "Out! Out! Get out of my sight!"

The solider quickly left the room, shutting the door behind him. Aegeus stormed around the room, with nothing left to throw he began smashing the windows and the furniture. Soon he found himself on the roof in his garden, but he didn't remember going there. His energy gave out and he fell down. Sitting up against the ledge he sobbed to himself, cursing the gods, cursing Minos, cursing all other people. He began repeating his son's name over and over again until his breath ran out.

His head turned to the side, looking out into the sea, across the vast distance to where the water met the sky. He propped himself on top of the ledge, his eyes moved from the horizon to the sea beneath him, he watched as the incoming waves splashed into the cliff side. Aegeus looked towards the heavens and closed his eyes. He pretened he was somewhere else; a place in his childhood he used to go often: his uncle's ranch. As a young boy he used to jump off the ledge in the barn into the hay below. He opened his eyes and could see it now. He was sitting on the wooden floor, hay only a few feet below him.

Aegeus pushed himself off the ledge. His body thrashed into the water, the waves rocked his body back and forth, knocking it into the rocks of the cliff side. By the time Theseus would be able to see his father again, his body would be barely recognizable.
