Affiliate With Us

So... what is affiliating in the first place? 99% of Pokemon websites have at least a few affiliates, so you should have a pretty good handle on what it is, but I'm writing this just because. =D Affiliating is where one site puts up a link to another website and in turn, that website puts up a link for the other website. The most common way to link to websites are by using a button that viewers can click on, or just a regular text link. So yeah, there's the definition of affiliating. Now onto my affiliation rules which you've come here to read in the first place.

Of course, it must be a Pokemon website because it only makes sense for Pokemon websites to affiliate with other Pokemon websites. Anime websites are okay, as long as there's some Pokemon content in it.
I don't care one bit how many hits you get. As long as the content's and the effort is there, I will always consider affiliating with you. It'll also make me feel good inside when I know that my link has generated more viewers for someone who deserved to it. I won't give you a specific number on how many pages you should have; use your own judgement to decide whether or not you have enough content.
Not only must your site have a lot of content, it must also have a good layout for me to read the content. Having a bad, unreadable layout is as good as having no content. Help on what's a good layout and what's not can be found in the Website Tips page if you need any ideas.
Your site must be in English. Not only can my viewers not understand your content when they click your link, I won't be able to know whether or not you have good content.
Yes, I'm crazy about content, so here's another one: you must have at least some pages where you've written something that is original to your site only. It can be as simple as a review for a game or a tutorial on how to make a cool effect on Photoshop.
Your site must be up and running. If your last update was three months ago, then I will assume that you've abandoned your site (but, oddly, is still asking for affiliation o_O). No offense, but I hate looking at dead sites where the webmaster has left.
I will only affiliate with sites that have clean content and I doubt I will need to list what exactly I mean by 'clean' content. Keep your site rated PG13 tops, please.
Lastly, you must have an 88x16 button for me to put up. It would be a shame to go such a long way as for me to accept your site for affiliation for being an awesome site, but in the end to have to deny it simply because of the fact that it doesn't have an 88x16 button. It probably only takes a minute to make a simple-yet-functional one, too.

Needless to say, please keep your affiliation request mature and don't give me the impression of a little boy with a bad site just trying to waste my time. I immediately assume that your site won't be much different than your "Affiliate w/ me please!!!!!". If we agree to affiliate, the link to your site should usually be up within 30 minutes after you've received my reply saying that I've agreed to affiliate with you.

I will also remove your button if:

You don't put up the link to my site within three days. There's nothing more frustrating than an agreed affiliation with one owner too lazy to take 3 seconds to type in a few lines of code to link to my site.
Your site drops dead from lack of updates. If you haven't updated for 3 months, I will decide that you've abandoned your site and take down your button. Of course, miraculous 3 month long vacations are excused.
The link to your site is dead. I will assume that your site no longer exists anymore. If you just changed URL, then please contact me immediately.
